I remember very little about it aside from that finale where Laughton is up on the ship, or... something.Adam Zanziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14524618281515322239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18814440.post-50853472763695351802012-05-17T17:35:28.442-07:002012-05-17T17:35:28.442-07:00I have to say I disagree. To me it seemed very daring and unusual. Laughton certainly demands your attention, but I felt the character was interesting enough to justify this. He's a madman, but also very human. To my mind, this is one of Hitchcock's most vivid portrayals of the violent and unpredictable world we live in. I thought the film was disturbing and fascinating.Caseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10598083053245717303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18814440.post-30063434430248010492012-05-17T06:45:28.454-07:002012-05-17T06:45:28.454-07:00Hi, Tink,

It's always intriguing to revisit films one saw as a youngster and take note of one's changed perspective; you give a thoughtful analysis here....Tinkyhttp://www.ourgrandmotherskitchens.comnoreply@blogger.com
